Brief Answer:
Did you hit it?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to here about this elbow pain. I have reviewed the image and the swollen and redness is very evident. Did you traumatize the elbow? this looks very much like a reaction to trauma. Though it could be a form of skin infection too, the elbow is not a common site for this and would need a careful exam to tell if this could be it. For now, apply cold packs to this area to reduce the swelling and pains!

Let me know if you caused some trauma to this area or not. This is because the pain medications and treatment must take into consideration this. Hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

Brief Answer:
Monitor today!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this precision.

I will suggest you monitor today and apply ice packs. With a pain, draw a circle around the edges of the red spot. If it increases in size with time, then it is llikely an infection and you would need antibiotics for. If it doesn't , it may represent inflammation from trauma that went unnoticed. Report the results of this monitoring within 12hours so that we can get to act fast if need be.

Do you have any fever or any other symptoms?

I wish you well and hope to hear from you.
