What Causes Pain In Back, Spine, Hips And Ribs?

default
Posted on Sat, 24 May 2014
Question: I have been having bone pain that started in my back and has gotten progressively worse over 2 years. My spine, hips, ribs, humerus, femurs, knees and neck hurt. I've been to multiple doctors who tell me to take anti inflammatories and say thy don't know what it is. I am now experiencing a loss of appetite, hypertension, thyroid issues, tinnitus, stuttering and severe fatigue. Please, any information might help. I am at the end of my rope having to live with his daily pain and not being able to lift my children or tolerate standing or sitting for too long

Brief Answer:
Thyroid can be a issue

Detailed Answer:
Hello madam,
I have read your case and I have full sympathy with you. Having so many problems can make any one depressed and frustrated. Not getting right diagnosis is also frustrating.
I have seen many such cases in my OPD, and I think thyroid is main problem. It causes myopathy, that leads to severe body ache. I would suggest you to get your thyroid profile again. Maintain good control of TSH level. I would also recommend you following.
1. In My such patients I give amytryptalin daily.. This take care of fatigue.
2. Start calcium and vitamin
3. Methyocobal one daily helps.
4. Good healthy diet, exercise like yoga or swimming.
I hope this answer will help you. Let me know if you want to ask any other questions. Thanks and take care.

Brief Answer:
Check TSH every 3 months

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Checking TSH every 3 month is necessary and changed your drug accordingly. Good thyroid control will make you feel better. If you feel lazy you can understand that drug doses needs to be increased. If you feel anxious and heart rate is high, dose need to be lowered. Blood test is best marker.
