Brief Answer:
a picture and following information is needed

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I understand your concern.

1. Can you please provide a picture of the affected skin, so I can analyze the changes myself?

2. What makes you think it's a contact dermatitis?

3. The nerve burning and tingling are suggestive for possible herpetic rash.
I need to have a look at the photos myself before running into final conclusions.

I had used a service called virtuwell and sent pictures. They told me it was not shingles. I had gone tanning for 6 days straight using tanning lotion in bed and then wire sports bra after and the rash followed the bra line so they prescribed me both an anti fungal and steroid cream. I only had symptoms of burning and irritation on rash wed - sat and then on Sunday started to have tingling in hands and near rash site. Rash is now almost completely gone but pain remains. Could this be nerve damage from tanning?

Brief Answer:
Tingling due to skin irritation and not nerve damage...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you for providing additional information.

From your new updates, I can understand that, yes, this is a case of contact dermatitis. The following tingling and burning is your personal conception to the irritated skin. As long as shingles is excluded, all you are experiencing has nothing to do with nerve damage but just irritation of skin.

All the best!
