Brief Answer:
WHAT IS NORMAL PATTERN OF YOUR PERIODS ?

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Normally, what is your cycle length and duration ?
Please let me know that, so that I can answer accordingly.
Was the 2 days period normal, is that what you always have ,or was it a variation in any way ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.

Brief Answer:
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT RIGHT NOW, REPEAT TEST.

Detailed Answer:
Hi again.
This is a period that has deviated from the normal.
There could be various reasons for this.
Take a pregnancy test again tomorrow, 31st was slightly early.
IF the test is negative, still relax.
There are commoner causes - stress, weight changes, unaccustomed exercise, travelling, late nights, erratic eating, smoking, drinking, hormonal medications etc.
IF any of these are applicable, they could be reasons.
DO not worry about a deviant cycle once in a while.
I do not think you would not menstruate on the 7th now, you might have a regular period next after 4 weeks.
If this irregularity persists in the next cycle, then you should see a Specialist.
I would then outline the workup to be done, in case this recurs.
Take care.

But does having two day period mean possibly that when it doesn't implant it just flushes out sooner causing a period for two days. I know that it happened around implantation time but that happened to me last month too I had a period 5 days after ovulation during a time we tried to conceive as well. I will have to document my periods to see how irregular they are. Thank you and have a great day! :)

Brief Answer:
NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT

Detailed Answer:
Even if implantation fails, you would have a normal period length, flow and duration.
Yes, maintain a cycle diary and let me know.
If you had your last period the same way, maybe your cycle length has shortened, which often happens.
Take care.
