What Causes Itching Sensation On Arms, Legs And Neck Area?
Question: My mother, 78 years old, is going crazy with a terribe itching. On much of her body, but mainly arms, legs, and neck area. She's seen our family doctor who mentioned it might be mites, but has no idea what it actually is. He refered to a dermtologist who can't see her until March 10. She also went to the emergency room and they thought it was contact dermatitus. They gave her some methylprednisolone, Hydroxzine for itching. It seems to help briefly, but returns the next day.
