Brief Answer:
Your discharge needs evaluation.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks once again for writing to us.

Brown discharge can be considered normal before and after period and around ovulation if it is not linked with any symptoms and it may go away without any treatment.

In your case it is associated with cramping and persist for long, then you should go and consult with a gynecologist to get yourself examine and get your Ultrasound pelvis done to rule out other pathology like PCOD, ovarian cyst, PID and cervical cancer (very rare).

It can be due to hormonal imbalance also.

Hope it is useful, revert back to me after your gynecologist consultation.

Good luck.
Regards
