What Causes Indigestion, Bloating And Urge To Defecate Along With Loose Stool?
Question: i suffer from indigestion, feel bloated all the time. have a irregular bowel movement. feel the urge to pass stool always, i go to the latrine 3-4 times everyday.Stool is loose(not loose motion though).abdominal and lower back pain is common so i take O2(ANTIBIOTIC) tablet at times.. . I TAKE 01 RANTAC-D tablet everyday and isabgul evryday, If i miss taking isabgul then suffer from constipation the following day. also i take O2 tablet when suffering from diarrohea.
I have consulted a gen physician before and took metrogyl400 and pantop-d for 15 days as advised but after 1 month the problems returned.
my background- i work in shifts, sleep problem, smoke and chew gutka. dont eat outside food take packaged water.

Your symptoms seem to be because of irritable bowel syndrome ( IBS)
I would advice to continue ispgulha for at least 3 months.
In would suggest rifaximin 550 for 2 weeks. This drug is a prescription only medication. I am sure your local physician will know about it. Discuss with him/her for a prescription.
In addition, I would suggest adding a probiotic like gnorm for a month.
Get a stool examination and a CBC blood test if abnormal further investigations might be needed

I forgot to mention that i've been sufferin from this over a year, take antibiotics every now and then without prescription and pop a rantac-d pill every night. i've become so much dependant on this drugs. have been using it for the last 2 years everyday. i can feel that my digestive system has weakend.
So, is it because of the side effects of those drugs? what if i continue taking antigas/antacid tabs everyday?
