What Causes Increased Heart Rate And Cold While On Metoprolol?

Question: I have chronic afib and take metoproäol for Heart rate controöl and Werferin for blood clottin Control. I have been on this meditation for 13 years. Presently i have a severe cold and as a result have low hydration and my puls rate varies between68 to 110 on occasion. It of course always varies but usually 62 to 85 or even 90. Could my cold and low hydration have an effect as I described?
