Brief answer....you seem to have developed laryngitis ( inflammation of voice box )
Detailed answer....
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
I have read your query. You seem to have laryngitis and generally caused by cold virus or by heavy smoking. Loud singing and talking can also cause it.
This results in hoarseness of voice or loss of voice.
It is not a serious problem and generally tends to go away in 7-10 days time.
No particular treatment is given for this except to offer following advice...
Stop smoking
Give rest to your voice.
Avoid speaking and shouting till you recover
Avoid clearing of your throat
Drink plenty of normal water.
While sleeping keep your head propped up to avoid getting acid reflux which would irritate your voice box.
In case you don't improve in 2 weeks, then you would need your larynx examined by an ENT specialist
I hope it helps however you are most welcome to revert to me or any further query.
Best of luck
Thanks
