Brief Answer:
You are most probably having sinusitis with eustachian tube blockage .

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX ,
Thanks for the query.

I have read your query , reviewed your medications and understand your concern.

After reading your clinical history it appears that you are most probably having
sinusitis with eustachian tube blockage .
Pressure in head and ears is because of sinusitis with eustachian tube blockage. Loss of alertness is because of sedation induced by lorazep & etilaam. Consult your psychiatrist for dose adjustment .

If I were your treating Doctor for this case , I would advice
Investigation like CT Scan Nose with Sinuses to know extend of disease .
Till then use Steam Inhalation twice daily,
Saline nasal rinse or spray thrice ,
continue emanzen d and Allegra .

You will get relief .

Hope this information helpful to you .If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

Regards.

Hello doctor
I just had sleep apnea test today and will get results by tomorrow
I just noticed one more thing that before sleeping in very silent room I feel something in my head
Can it be tinnitus ?
I just read about it online
In the day or even if I m awake and sitting I don't listen anything
Is it in my head ?
Does everybody feel something in head if in complete silence ?
If I don't feel anything through out the day can it still be tinnitus ?
Can u have some ear infection also as I had cold and flu last month ?
Also I m taking etilaam for anxiety , can it be some side effect ?
doctor
Answered by Dr. Krunal Karade (12 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Everybody has some tinnitus in complete silence .

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up query .

Yes , it is tinnitus .

Everybody has some tinnitus in complete silence .

If you are not having any tinnitus in day time or night except in complete silence then no need to worry . You will get relief with above treatment plan .

Due to eustachian tube blockage mild tinnitus is common in complete silence .

It is less likely side effect of etilaam .

Revert back to me after investigations .

Hope this information helpful to you .

I want to describe what I am feeling

1) no noise or tinnitus in the day as well as any party or my office or in the car.

2) no tinnitus at home while watching TV or being in the house if there is little bit noise also

3) if I close my ears and focus on something I don't hear any noise but if I don't focus I feel some noise in my head ?

4) only while sleeping if I don't feel sleepy in bed and in utter silence I feel something like very mild cricket sound type
Is this normal ?
Am I just freaking out about tinnitus

Also my last question to conclude abnormal tinnitus
Does a person has to feel this noise all the time ?

In my opinion , you are too much worrying about tinnitus due to anxiety .

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up query .

I have read your query and understand your concern.

In my opinion , you are too much worrying about tinnitus due to anxiety . Consult psychiatrist for evaluation & management of excess anxiety .

Everyone hears some noise when ears are closed . In complete silence , tinnitus is common in most persons . It is normal . No need for freaking out about tinnitus . You will get relief .

Get the Hearing tests done from Audiologist . If hearing tests are normal with no sensorineural hearing loss , you will not feel this noise all the time . It is temporary due eustachian tube blockage .

I consulted a physiatrist today

He told me tinnitus sound is high and if I had tinnitus then I would be feeling the tinnitus sound when I was sitting in his cabin in the afternoon as tinnitus sound is quiet audible to the person who has it
Also he told me people suffering from tinnitus feel tinnitus all the time 24 hours a day
Is it true ?
Secondly at night in my closed room I feel
'eeee "sound
from my brain if there is silence
Is it normal ?
Does all People feel that ?
Even my friend was feeling it today when he was in the silent room
doctor
Answered by Dr. Krunal Karade (7 hours later)
Brief Answer:
Tinnitus due to ear diseases is high & it is heard all the time .

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX ,

Tinnitus due to ear diseases is high & it is heard all the time . Tinnitus is more annoying in quiet surroundings, particularly at night, when the masking effect of ambient noise from the environment is lost.

In complete silent room , everyone hear tinnitus . The degree of silence vary from person to person to hear tinnitus . It is normal .

Hope your psychiatrist make dose adjustment in your medication . You are more concerning about tinnitus which is Obsessive-Compulsive behaviour .
I would again suggest not to worry about it.

Thanks .
