Brief Answer:
Imaging studies needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Most probably your symptoms are caused by degenative spine disease, but imaging studies and a clinical examination are needed to confirm this condition.

Probable diagnoses are cervical spondylosis, herniated disc disease and imaging studies to assess these diagnoses are cervical spine x-rays, MRI of cervical spine as well.

The treatment after the diagnosis consists initially in NSAID drugs and physical therapy with the aim of reducing joint loading and strengthening cervical muscles.

All these issues should be discussed with your primary care Doctor.

Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Take care.
