What Causes Headache, Dizziness, Facial Numbness And Tingling Sensation Throughout The Body?
Question: Any ideas ?
-Male 33 years old. 2 year history of assumed vestibular migraines (dizziness and headaches and migraine like symptoms ) (rotary chair test pointed towards central cause of dizzyness) along with facial numbness on cheeks and nose that can last days. dizziness almost everyday.
-7 month history of random painful pins and needles throughout body. mostly hands, arms, thighs, face, along with areas feeling extremely sensitive. This comes and goes. Can last hours or days.
Normal/negative tests: mri brain and neck. echocardiogram, emg arms and legs, qsart, small fiber neuropathy biopys,, hepatitis, fabys, Sjorgens,

I have been reading up your case with previous doctors too. I am not a Neurologist like Dr Olsi Taka, but found your case interesting.
Since you have headache, dizziness and facial numbness, there could be a tiny acoustic neuroma that has escaped detection on MRI, causing the problem.
Has a follow up MRI been done?
If we think of it as Neuralgia instead of vascular etiology/migraine----
has Trigeminal Neuralgia been considered?
Duloxetine, Gabapentin and Carbamazipine are three drugs that I would like to try in your case.
Please revert back with your thoughts.

I had a mri when it first started and again this past February, both looked good . Not trigemianl neurilga. All I have it down to is just maybe a bad case of complicated migraine or lyme disease.

Great! I just thought sometimes we need to think laterally and keep an open mind. We keep thinking vascular (verapamil should have helped) and it turns out neuronal or even a root canal infection.
Your case seemed interesting so I joined in.
Continue to explore the way you are doing and keep an open mind. You will surely reach a solution. One of my cases it took 10 years and every kind of specialist and test--turned out a very simple solution. But that is another story.
