What Causes Head Pressure, Facial Pain, Dizziness, Weakness And Ear Popping?

default
Posted on Fri, 17 Jul 2015
Question: I have head pressure, face pain, dizziness, weakness, ear popping, and fatigue but no drainage but have been diagnosed with sinusitis by three doctors. I've been on doxycycline for three days and my symptoms have yet to improve. Throughout the day I get bad anxiety, shaky, and am unsure of what to do. I've never had sinus infection. Do the symptoms describe sinusitis or could it be a neurological issue?

I forgot my vision seems not as good as it used to be before I started having symptoms. I now have to wear my glasses all the time opposed to when I used to only have to wear them at work sinc!e I sit behind a computer all day. Does your vision get foggy with sinus infections?

Brief Answer:
sinusitis or no sinusitis?

Detailed Answer:
Hi!

Welcome to health care magic!

I am Dr. Saddiq Ul Abidin. I have read your problem in detail and will try to help you in best way possible.

It is sad to know that you have been facing this problem lately. The kind of symptoms you had summarized best fit in sinusitis though other possibilities can be there but very rare.

It is easy for you to get an Xray PNS done to know exact assurance whether it is sinusitis or not and which nasal sinuses are involved.

If you are not getting enough benefit from doxycycline, try using other antibiotics like ckarythromycin or moxifloxacin instead.

Also try using decongestants and anti allergic along with good analgesic for complete symptomatic benefits.

Hope this has answered your query, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. kindly rate me before closing, and leave your feedback if possible.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ul abidin.
