Question: I am experiencing a random fluttering feeling in my shoulder blade region and in my mid back on the right side. It seems to be more prominent when I lay down ..

I had a prescription for gabapentin 300MG that I took for shoulder and neck pain from a work related injury..my Dr stopped the prescription about 6weeks ago..

Hi, I need a few more information regarding your problem.
1. How is your fluttering? Is this a visible jerky movement or an internal feeling? For how many days you have been having this symptom?
2. Does it flutter all the time or comes all of a sudden? Is there any stimulus that causes this?
3. How is your sleep?
4. Do you have any bladder, bowel or appetite problem?
5. Did you have fever in last 15 days?
6. How did the injury happen? What was the site of the injury? Did you do any test after the event? If yes, please give details of the reports.
7. Did you ever have head injury, convulsion, stroke etc.?
8. Is there any family history of similar problems?
9. Have you had any significant major illness or any surgery in the past?
10. Do you have any chronic medical illness, e.g. Diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease etc? Do you take any medicine regularly? if yes, please provide the list.
11. Do you have any numbness or tingling or gait problem or any other neurological symptoms?
12. Do you have any known neuromuscular or psychiatric problems?
For the time being, you can have Tab Pregaba M once daily. Please maintain good oral hydration and diet and adequate sleep.
You may need the following tests -
MRI brain and spine
EEG
Please write back with the above information. You can attach scanned copies of any report in the reports section.
