Brief Answer:
nothing to worry about

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

How was your day?

Hope this message finds you in good health.
I have gone through your query in detail and understand your concern.

at your fathers age, if he has high fever with bodyache and joint pains, then its surely a viral infection.

you should get his blood checked for complete blood count, rbcs, wbcs, platelets, peripheral smear for malarial parasites and test for dengue.

if all the tests are negative, then be sure, its a simple viral fever and will go away in 2-7 days just with rest and paracetamol. give him antacids and anti emetics too.

if the fever does not subside in 2 days, you need to start him on antibiotics.

he should drink plenty of fluids and water to maintain hydration.

if anything in his reports comes positive consult a nearby physician or let me know. i will guide you futher.

he should eventually get back to normal in coming few days.Nothing to worry about.

I hope your question has been answered.

Feel free to consult me anytime for follow-up queries.
Take care,God bless.

Thanks for the reply, could you please also help me as I am having pain in my right hand elbow for the last over 6weeks as i lift heavy buckets of water for sometime, initially the symptoms were similar to tennis elbow but now i would like to know the reason for the same as the pain is not that much but it happens while folding the right hand joint and stretching the hand as elbow pains in joints.

Could you please advice the correct line of treatment whether icepack will help to subside the pain along with MOOVE ointment. I had taken initially painkillers for sometime and now i feel there is no need of that. Please provide the details urgently.
