Brief Answer:
This is common when you use regular-wear glasses.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for your query.

It is common to experience such fuzziness when you are using regular-wear glasses and taking them off. The reason is that your eyes get used to a particular focal length while having the glasses on and when it is removed, the sudden change in focal length causes the eyesight to blur and you may feel a bit fuzzy. So, you needn't worry about this and you'll get used to it with time.

It is unlikely to be due to anemia, because the dizziness associated with anemia would be present irrespective of whether you are wearing glasses or not.

Brief Answer:
CONTINUOUS USE IS ESSENTIAL.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again,

It is essential that you wear the regular-use glasses continuously - whenever you are awake. I understand that this may be difficult to get used to initially, but if you are persistent, it will soon become a habit.

The reason it is important to wear them continuously is because the eyes have a phenomenon called "accomodation". In simple terms, what this means is that our eyes normally tend to get 'used to' a particular focal length. When you are wearing glasses, the eyes slowly get used to the new focal length and the improvement in vision is maintained. But when you keep taking off your glasses frequently, the eyes have to keep shifting between different focal lengths. This results in the visual improvement not being sustained.

This could be the reason why you are having the difficulties such as feeling fuzziness or feeling that you are losing balance - because you are not giving sufficient and continuous time for your eyes to get used to the glasses. This may be the reason why it may not be a good idea to alternate between your reading glasses and your regular-wear glasses.

Don't worry, most of your problems will get solved when you continuously use your glasses for a few weeks.
