Question: Hi! I recently suffered a concussion about 10 days ago. I was starting to feel better and then my cousin joking around slammed the car door for me when i was sitting inside rhe car. I immediately bc of the force and the noise freaked out (i guess since the accident im on edge) and my headache came back. That cannot cause abother concussion correct. Thank u!

Brief Answer:
No concussion.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for posting your query here at HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Don't worry, concussion cannot happen without hitting the head.

In addition, concussion symptoms include brief loss of consciousness, nausea and/or vomiting, short term memory problems, besides headaches, so, I don't think you had a concussion.

Since you refer you freaked out, headaches are most likely related to anxiety disorder.

You can use OTC drugs against the pain such paracetamol, ibuprofen etc.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.

Brief Answer:
In your case is impossible.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

It is true that concussion can happen if a car hits you, because of the weight and the speed of the car, however, the hit should include the head too.

It is impossible a concussion in your recent case.

Hope I helped you.
