Brief Answer:
Possible side effect of Lescol, discus with your doctor...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.

Please let me revise your current health situation:
- take antihypertensive drug Enalapril
- take Lescol for high cholesterol
- feeling great desire to sleep in spite of good sleep
- very dry eyes
- severe fatigue
- cramps in stomach

All your current problems are showing side effects of Lescol to me. I advise to discuss with your doctor to stop taking Lescol for a couple of months and see if the symptoms will subside.

Lack of multivitamins and minerals is also to blame like magnesium and calcium. An electrolyte balance is advised to measure to get the right diagnosis and right treatment.

Hope it was of help!

Brief Answer:
Following answers to your queries!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

1. If I was your caring doctor would advise to continue with diet and lifestyle changes and to stop taking any medication to reduce blood cholesterol for up to 3 months.
After that, can repeat testing to see changes in blood cholesterol levels.

2. Feeling confused might be due to lescol use. However, I advise to monitor your blood pressure (bp) to see oscillations at the moment you feel confusion.

With regards to feeling cold in your legs, I advise to :
- run a complete blood count to rule out anemia
- run echo doppler of legs blood vessels to rule out oclusion or thrombosis,

3. If you discontinue taking lescol today, improvement will be notable within the first couple of weeks or first month to up yo 3 months after stopping it.

Hope it answered to your queries!

Brief Answer:
healthy lifestyle&diet is enough to lower cholesterol levels...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

After reviewing your report test I would like to say that you have a slightly elevated cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels. My opinion is that a healthy lifestyle and diet is enough to lower and stabilize your cholesterol levels.

All other parameters are normal and there's nothing to worry about.

Wish you health!
