Brief Answer:
Avoid alcohol

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for trusting health care magic.
It seems like you have developed intolerance to alcohol.
It is either due to allergy which is seen in first timers or it can be due to drug interaction of alcohol with some drug started recently.
If you are taking any medication for any ailment then please let me know.
And anyways you should avoid alcohol because you can have fatal oedema of throat (angioneurotic edema) in case you continue to take alcohol.
Take care

Brief Answer:
Cipralex

Detailed Answer:
How long have you been taking cipralex?
Because we generally advice patients to avoid alcohol before prescribing this drug.
You don't need any test and discuss with your physician the need to change your drug or you can keep taking the drug and avoid alcohol altogether.

Brief Answer:
Physician opinion advised

Detailed Answer:
No dear, don't stop cipralex without consulting your doctor and replacing it with another drug as it can cause acute depression or mania.
Visit the physician who had prescribed you the drug and discuss your symptoms with him.
But in my opinion you will not be able to tolerate alcohol even in small amount.

Brief Answer:
Wait till you meet your doctor

Detailed Answer:
You are most welcome dear.
It is definitely unusual to have these symptoms suddenly after using same drugs and alcohol.
But it is similar to the fact that certain people develop asthma after moving to a metro city.
Try to avoid alcohol as much as possible till you meet your physician.
Take care.
