What Causes Extreme Pain In Shoulder?

Question: I have had, on two seperate occasions, extreme pain in my right shoulder. Pain so bad that morhpine would no stop it. The heart doctor concluded that my heart was NOT a factor. X rays, blood test and a mri showed nothing wrong at all. My last episode started as a small pain in my shoulder and within an hour I was in the emergency room in extreme pain with no cause to be found. I have never injured this shoulder in any way. What could possibly be wrong and what medical proffesional might help me.

Hello,
I have studied your case. I think that your pain in shoulder can be due to one of the reasons.
1.Nerve compression in neck ( Cervical spondylitis)
2.Shoulder tendon problem
As you mentioned that your MRI of the shoulder is normal,I would like to see your report. So please send me that report if possible. I would also like to know little detail about your illness.
1.Are you having Diabetes or Thyroid issue?
2.Is there any medicines you are taking for long time?
3. Your pain is in shoulder only or it is involving complete arm ?
