What Causes Erectile Dysfunction?
Question: I was taking Prilosec for about a year straight because of acid reflux and now sexual problems, ED meds don't work, is this permanent

Erectile Dysfunction occurs due to some problem in the body or mind . So first we need to find out the cause of ED.
The first thing what we need to see is whether ED is happening due to physical problem or psychological issue.
I need to know whether you get a proper erection while masturbating or not ? If yes then you ED is most likely due to Psychological issue which needs to be sorted out . But if you don't get erection even while masturbating then it is due physical problem for which you need to get the following tests done.
FBS, PPBS, Serum Testosterone, Serum Prolactin , Scrotal Ultrasound and Penile Doppler.
Only after knowing what is the cause of ED , I will be able to tell whether it is permanent or temporary.
