Posted on Sat, 21 Feb 2015
Question: My 18-year-old son is currently being treated for lyme disease by a lyme disease speciaist and is currently on antibiotics and mepron, along with several supplements including resbid for his liver. His blood test recently came back with a high level for his bilirubin of 2.2. Is that alarmingly high?

Brief Answer:
Not to alarming unless he has a liver condition of concern!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I have reviewed the information and there is nothing alarming to be scared of at this time. if he has no other liver related condition, following up in 3 months to see what the levels are would be a great idea. For now, there is no reason to panic.

I hope this helps. I wish you well.
