Brief Answer:
Get a proper consultation and investigations

Detailed Answer:
HI.
Thanks for your query and elucidate / detailed history.

I hope you are already taking these medicines under Doctor's Advise and Examination.

The tongue may be becoming dry due to dehydration or infection or aphthous ulcer or may be thrush.
I would advise you get examined by the ENT Surgeon to confirm the exact diagnosis so that proper additional treatment can be started.

As for the pain or pinching in the kidney area, it is difficult to say only from the history what may cause this.

For this to get a confirmed diagnosis I would recommend you to see a General Surgeon. You are already suffering from the gas problems for such a long time. It is wise to get a proper physical examination, investigations done to find the proper cause and treatment accordingly.

I hope this answer helps you to find the right direction towards diagnosis and treatment.

Till then increase your fluid intake, continue the treatment you already are taking. Consult the Specialists as advised.
Feel free to ask for more if you need to .

i dnt think surgeon is required in my case...due to following reason......its a normal viral flu with tonsil...my question was that sir wether is it a side effect of antibiotic which i have been consuming since fews days....so kindly clear this query to me....since childhood i have stayed in hostel and have consumed anything feeded to us and as you can understand sir what maturity does a child have and after that i moved towards banglore for engineering even there same inccident haapened lack of physical fitness n proper food intake though i am lean and thin....i have been a good marathon runner since childhood and after arriving at XXXXXXX for preparation of IAS i was forced to take meal from tiffin vendor but when i started facing shortness of breath around 4 to 5 am then finally consulted a doctor and he said you have been victimised of gas due to constipation....a guy drinking not less then 5 ltrs of water and running for 6 to 7 km without any break suffering from such frustable scenario....in my last KFT and CBC only uric level was highlighted....i am down with illness since 5 days so i am not able to eat salad....guide me for my future and wishing best reply from you sir....gudnite

Brief Answer:
Which antibiotic, medicines are you taking ?

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your feedback.
May I please know which antibiotic are you taking?

The problem you have noted is less likely to be a side effect of an antibiotic.

Noted the history you have provided,. Yes, I can can understand the hostel life better as I too stayed in hostel since the age of 9 years till 26 years, all the diets and the problems associated with it. It is good that you are a great runner, if you are taking 5 liters of water and running 5 to 6 km should not have such problems as you have mentioned.

I hope you are taking a laxative for constipation.

Since you are preparing for IAS- I wish you all the best and also would like to stress the need for the best health.

As the fever is still continued even after 5 days of viral fever and you have developed the problem of dryness of the tongue and pain in the kidney area with a known high uric acid level , it is always wise to take a proper precaution to have a diagnosis and treatment.

This is most needed for a bright future too.
I hope you would agree with me.

You need to be really healthy to have great achievements.
A proper diagnosis is most important for a cure, as you are suffering from the gas and constipation for a long time.

Wishing you all the best for your IAS examination and best health.
Please feel free to discuss more if you need to.

thanxs a lot sir and sorry for the disturbance by texting at this wee hours and disturbing your sleep.. first time i have chated with cool and humble doctor...though i have mentioned my medicine but i am copying it again...
1.CEPOCEF-200(CEFPODOXIME)
2.NICIP PLUS(NIMESULIDE/PARACETAMOL)
3.BETADINE(POVIDONE-IODINE GERMICIDE GARGLE)
4.GAS-O-FAST(MANKIND)
This drug mentioned above was consumed by me because i had an upper hand in medicine knowledge due to my grandfather...he served prestigeously as MBBS and medical surgeon but he passed away 5 months back otherwise he was my doctor and now i feel helpless from where to take proper advise...because in todays time all have been turned to professionalism and widening the gap of relationship between doctor and patient....Anyways thanxs sir with such a short trip of conversation as Buddha says make your journey countful before you exit this mighty sorrowful world

Brief Answer:
Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your appreciation and feedback.
Out of all the medicines you are taking, Nimesulide can cause some allergic reactions by it is in the form of swelling of the legs or fixed drug eruptions. The problem of the pain in kidney area is not heard of with Nimesulide and may not cause a problem in you if you had taken these medicines in the past.

Nice to know that your Grandfather was a MBBS Doctor and I can understand your loss.

Yet, you can get good people in all walks of life.
And that is why I have a request for you to get a Specialists' opinion to get to the root cause. Gas-o-fast is a preparation of fungal diastase, Papain and Simethicone and is for symptomatic relief.

Taking sips of plain water orally help better than the Betadine Gargles.
Cepocef is a good antibiotic.
You may add a probiotic and multivitamins as you have an abdominal problem.

Please feel free to discuss more if you need to.
