What Causes Dizziness And Balancing Issues After Driving For Long Periods?

Question: I get very unstable and dizzy after driving every couple of days. Not every time. Usually first thing in the morning or after work. Never after lying down or sitting. It is accompanied by pain in mid to upper back. It lasts about 30 seconds to a minute, then I'm fine.

I understand your concern

Your symptoms could be a mild cervical spondylitis.
Sitting and travelling in one position for long time aggravate the symptoms.
I would suggest to undergo MRI for confirmation.
Take following advises:
Tablet Pregabalin 75 mg once a day at the bed time for one month
Tablet Methylcobalamine 1000 mg once a day for one month
Cervical traction exercises and neck exercise will helpful
Wear Soft cervical collar specially
Do not keep your neck in same position for long time.
