What Causes Discomfort In Testicles And Itchy Penis?

default
Posted on Thu, 12 Feb 2015
Question: About two months ago I had unprotected vaginal and anal sex. About a week after I started feeling pressure in my testicles, and for about a week would get random small aches on penis. Did research and read that the stds that affect testicles are gonorrhea and/or chlamydia, got tested for both, came back negative. Then it kind of just went away. Recently had unprotected sex and the symptoms came back, but with less testicle pressure, but Im getting small aches on my penis, and my testicles are a little itchy. I am 25 and have had a Varicocele vein in my left testicle for a long time, around 10 years.

Brief Answer:
Could be due to Infection of Testicles (Orchitis )

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query, based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have discomfort in testicles and itching over penis following unprotected vaginal and oral sex.
I shall be happy if you can post me few more details to help me in making comments on your problem.
1) Do you have any urinary symptoms like burning ,frequency etc ?
2) Is there any urethral discharge?
3) Do you have any lesion on glans penis?

Pain in testicles could be likely to be due to mild infection of testicles (Orchitis) .

In view of unprotected vaginal and anal sex get basic screening tests for STD and HIV done to rule out acquiring HIV and STD.

In the mean while take broad spectrum antibiotic like Cefixime along with anti inflammatory drug like Diclofenac twice daily.

Ensure to have safe protected sex in future to avoid getting HIV and STD.

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

No other urinary symptoms, or any noticable discharge. But I did develop a yeast infection, which I had about a year ago, and was told to put Miconazole Nitrate 2%, and it has helped.
