What Causes Difficulty In Conception With Fibroids?

Question: Do we need to consult a Infertility specalist after trying to get a baby post 1.7 months of marriage and having a D & C after one year of marriage. After D 7 C, we are trying for baby for last 7 months

2. It is important to continue medicines for prolactin and thyroid.

3. Keep checking these levels every 2 months.

4. Fibroids needs to be removed after assessment.

5. Better to get lapariscopic removal of fibroids.

6. If she is overweight needs to reduce weight.

7. Please consult an IVF specialist in an IVF centre for proper evaluation.

Hi Dr. Thanks for the prompt reply. Need some clarification on fibroid. As per my Dr fibroid is small and will not intefere in pregnancy. But other Dr from whom we had a second opinion suggest to get the fibroid removed without which there cannot be pregnancy. Whats yr view on removal of fibroid and failur to,concieve . My wife weight is 67 kgs and height of 5.3fts.

The problem for conception seems to be due to fibroid as other problems dont seem to cause this.

Weight and her height are fine. Not a problem.

I suggest get lapariscopic removal of fibroids.

Let me know which city you live. I can refer to a good lapariscopic surgeon in that city if I know.
