Brief Answer:
No need to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
When a couple fails to conceive after one year of successful unprotected intercourse, then it is termed as infertility. Since you both are trying to conceive only for 2 months, you don't need to worry so much. The chances of conception in each menstrual cycle is only 20-25%, hence sometimes it may take upto 1 year to conceive.
Moreover, taking emergency contraceptive pill (unwanted 72 ) for one time does not effect the future fertility(chances of conception). However, it does not applies if there is repeated intake of emergency contraceptive pill.
The chances of conception are maximum in the fertile period, which ranges from day8-day 22 of the menstrual cycle, and I would advise you both to have intercourse every alternate day in this period to maximise the chances of conception.
I would also advise your wife to start folic acid tablets as as taking this tablet in preconceptional and periconceptional period decreases the risk of congenital anomalies in the fetus.

Wishing you both good health.

Folic acid 5 mg

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for responding. Folic acid tablet should be taken in the dosage of 5 mg a day. It comes in various brands like folvite, Biopreg F, folgel either as a single component or combined with other vitamins.
