Brief Answer:
you need an MRI.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thanks for coming to HealthCareMaagic. The symptoms you have described are textbook for a nerve root compression in your neck. You are a bit young for such a thing, so I would like you to get an MRI of your Cervical Spine (Neck) to confirm it. If it is truly a cord compression there are many different treatment options, some surgical and others medical. We can go over those once we have an idea of what is going on.

So please go t the diagnostic center of your choice and get an MRI cervical spine without contrast.

I hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
Costs depends on the facility

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks for following up
Costs for procedures like these all depend on WHERE you are getting the scan done. Corporate hospitals are more expensive. At fortis in Bangalore I beleive the cost if that particular scan will run you around 7500 rupees. Other facilities are cheaper. The one thing i can say is that ITS ALL THE SAME. Find a facility that will do it for the price you are comfortable with. One MRI is as good as the next as long as they follow protocols properly.

I hope this helps.
