Cold body temperature

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.
Hypothermia may present as primary illness, but in the elderly commonly complicates other illness (secondary hypothermia).
Hypothermia may occur in an environment considered thermo-neutral for normal adults.
Cold extremities may be due to drug induced particularly beta-blockers.
Cold skin may also be due to hypothyroidism .
Please check her thyroid function tests like serum T3,T4 & TSH and let me know.
