I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in left lower chest with normal ekg is common in bronchitis and its sequelae. All you need is symptomatic care like painkillers and bronchodilators for relief. This pain will subside once the bronchitis is controlled. Pain under left rib with radiation to back should also be suspected for gastritis / gastric discomfort as that is common with use of pain killers and antibiotics too. Taking some antacidsshould eb given a trial to see if it helps. If its gastric discomfort a few pepto, nexium or any other antacids will help.
