Brief Answer:
Less likely to be a serious problem

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since you have been examined by three different urologists and all the possible investigations like urine analysis, ultrasound, CT scan, CBC, semen analysis, PSA, have been done and proved to be normal.

These investigations have almost ruled out stones, infection in the urogenital tract, prostate, or kidneys.
Xatral is used to treat benign prostatic enlargement associated urinary problems like urgency, precipitancy. It is unlikely to cause hematospermia (blood in the seminal fluid).

I have seen all the reports of lab investigations attached.

In view of the normal investigations, it is unlikely that you have any serious problem with your prostate or urinary tract (kidney, ureters, or bladder).

Have you done the clotting profile like bleeding time, clotting time, etc.?

Take a lot of oral fluids, take plenty of fresh fruits like orange, lime etc.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Best regards.

I did not say Xatral is the cause of blood.
He gave it to to treat the blood problem.

So if you think all is fine where the blood come from?
And can Xatral treat it. I have not taking it yet. I am not sure i need it because it is for prostate enlargement and I don't have this and worried about the side effects.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Get the semen analysis done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since you main problem is blood in the seminal fluid, so kindly get the semen analysis to rule out the bleeding in the genital tract.
You are also advised to undergo tests for bleeding tendency like clotting time and bleeding time.

Brief Answer:
There is an evidence of blood in the semen

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Kindly excuse me for the delay in answering as I am preoccupied with my other professional obligations.
The PT and PTT tests are within normal limits.
However there is an evidence of some evidence of bleeding in your semen analysis which is reflected in the form of 3-4 RBCs which are usually not seen.
You are hereby advised to visit your urologist for further evaluation n treatment.

Wishing you a very best of health.
Best regards.

Hi
Semen culture is uploaded. The result is negative which even scare me more.

How can I have infection which does not appear in the culture.

Please let me know
doctor
Answered by Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali (4 hours later)
Brief Answer:
The possibility of infection is unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX
In view of normal semen culture n sensitivity & other investigations infection is unlikely to be the cause of your present condition.
However your semen analysis is suggestive of some minor bleeding the cause of which has to be detected.
You are therefore advised to see your urologist along with all the investigations for further management.

Wishing you best of your health.
Regards.
