Question: hi, for three days now, I have fever, headache, muscle and joint pain, fatique. dizziness, very light dry cough and nothing else. My guess is the flu. My concern is that since my return from japan, every time I floss blood appears as if I had not flossed in weeks. Its 3 weeks now I am back and my gums keep bleeding every time I floss, which has been daily as always. What does this mean , is it something serious , whay do you recommend , Thank you, XXXX

Brief Answer:
need to see dentist or doctor

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Your fever, headache and other symptoms do sound like the flu. Bleeding gums can be a sign of a serious problem so please see your doctor or dentist soon. The bleeding gums may just be some inflammation from your flu but it is best to have a doctor or dentist check it out just to make sure. Good luck and good health.
