Brief Answer:
Endometrial thickness of 3mm is a normal finding in this age group.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
I am Dr Ramadevi Wani. I will be answering your concerns today.
When did you last have your period? If it is almost a year then you probably are entering into menopause.
Adenomyosis is a condition in which the lining the uterus ( endometrium ) grows into uterine muscle. It causes heavy painful periods. But once you attain menopause heavy painful periods are no longer there. So do not worry about that finding.
Endometrial thickness of 3mm is normal if one has attained menopause or if it is measured in the first 5 days of menstrual cycle. This absolutely is not of concern. Measuring hormones FSH and LH will confirm whether you have attained menopause. Of course with menopause the periods will stop.

I empathize with you for the chronic pelvic pain you are suffering. Have you observed what increases pain? Have you consulted physician for this pain? Sometimes gastro intestinal conditions can cause this pain.
The gynecology causes for the pain are endometriosis, pelvic adhesions, fibroids, chronic pelvic infection, pelvic congestion syndrome, ovarian cyct etc. But laparoscopy has been negative in your case. It is true that in some women no explanation can be found for the pain. So in your case since no cause is found treatment is to be aimed at relieving the pain.
Certain measures like massaging, applying heat pad, relaxation exercise/yoga do provide some relief.
Do you have any specific points where pain is localized? If so discuss with your doctor about the possibility of using numbing injections at those points.
Discuss with your doctor regarding the use of transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation and biofeedback techniques. A physiotherapist will help you with this.
I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, do write to me through Healthcare Magic. I will be happy to answer.
