Question: Hello, my name is XXXXXXX for the last 4 days I have been kept in hospital with nausea, loss of appetite, sore back and right lower abdomen, unable to pass gas or any bowel movement basically all the symptoms of appendicitis. Brief Answer:
Bowels obstruction is the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

Thank you for the query.

Your symptoms are characteristic for bowels obstruction. It can be due to adhesions, intestine invagination, Crohns disease. Appendicitis is possible, but after 4 days at least WBC should be elevated.
In my opinion you should have abdominal x-ray at first. If negative, abdominal CT has to be done. Depending of the results, diagnostic laparoscopy may be necessary.

Hope this helps.
Regards.

Wouldn't all of those conditions show up in blood results and ultrasounds. Also, I cannot have an x-ray or CT because the doctors don't want me exposed to radiation

Brief Answer:
X-ray radiation is minimal

Detailed Answer:
Not really. Most of mentioned conditions can give no changes in blood work. Ultrasound is not very sensitive test.
X-ray gives only minimal radiation. CT radiation is also acceptable.
