What Causes A Red Spot On The Intergluteal Cleft?

default
Posted on Fri, 8 Jul 2016
Question: so in between my buttocks, I have a small red spot which has bled twice. This is not rectal bleeding - when I pass stools I don't bleed, it's just a boil-type spot which bleeds occasionally (maybe its a skin tag or something). It's quite small and has been around for 3-4 weeks now, I was just wondering what could this be? I looked into the possibility of abscess, cyst, boil etc, and nothing really matches the symptoms (although it may be one of these things). I have literally no other symptoms at all, I feel absolutely fine, just this spot which, if I apply tissue paper directly to the spot, it bleeds. Not sure what this is? Can provide picture if needed.

The picture is not clear.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I saw the picture. It is not clear.
How far is the lesion from anal opening? If it is near the anal opening, it could be fistula in Ano.
If you have no objection, please send a clear picture.
Regards
