Brief Answer:
Can you stop applying any products to this area?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this link.

Though i have seen an image, it seems a long time back and not very clear. I will suggest that you try to upload another. However, it is necessary you stop applying any further products as this is probably the reason for the irritated skin and around the lips. They are causing more irritation than helping to resolve the infection.

Can I get an image of what the exact case is at this time? Please, this is very necessary to make sure we are looking at the current state and not what it was 2months ago.

Can you please really do so?

Brief Answer:
Yes, apply plain vaseline.....only!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the images.

I will recommend a short course of steroids. I will say take betamethasone for a week and let's see what happens. This seems a mix of inflammatory/allergic reactions and this drug is well adapted for this. We will be able to tell within this time if we are making significant gains or not.

Let me know how this works out. I await your updates.

Can I buy this betamethasone OTC...or something close to it or do I need a prescription

Due to a slip and fall accident...I have had 3 surgeries on my neck and back...While I was being treated by an orthopedic surgeon for my issues, I would receive steroid injections for my muscle inflammation....I have the side of affect of thin skin on my forearms...any bump or scratch to my skin I would bleed and take along time to heal...so at end of my treatment, I was switched to nonsteriod injections...so I am Leary of taking any steroid...

Brief Answer:
You must have a delicate skin then....ask your doctor about this!

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

THat is certainly a side effect of steroids but happens when taken for a longtime. I am not sure a week trial will lead to this. Seen the previous experience and the need for a script, I will suggest that you talk to your doctor about this.

Keep me posted on how it unfolds.
