Brief Answer:
Problem is not infection - it is psychological

Detailed Answer:
Hi... I have gone through in-detail all your 4 previous consultations on health care magic. All the history points and lab test you have provided in your previous consultations have indeed given me a lot of information.

Now coming to the problem of your son - I feel that this frequent urination and defecation is not related to infection or physical problem. Keeping in mind his basic problem of autism I feel it is related to that itself.

If it had been Urinary tract infection (UTI) - then he should have had - high grade fever with chills and rigors / vomiting / pain abdomen / pain while passing urine and he should not have had this frequent passage of stools. Another important thing against UTI which is reflecting in the lab report is colony count of 80000 which is not suggestive of UTI. Only a count of more than 100000 is significant and should be treated as UTI.

These frequent urination and defecation symptoms could be related to related to stress of autism or some other psychological issue he might be having.

I suggest you consult your clinical psychologist or psychiatrist regarding this.

I also suggest stopping all antibiotics and no more scans or urine tests of urine cultures.

Hope my answer was helpful for you. I am happy to help any time. Further clarifications and consultations on Health care magic are welcome. If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish your kid good health.

Brief Answer:
Suggestions on the query raised

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir, no body asked me to answer your question.

When a question comes up in this forum, anybody can pick up the answer as it is a query related to a child. We are all certified pediatricians in the panel here.

If you are not happy with my suggestion, I am willing to let it go. Please ask for a refund of your money and you can get it back. No issues.

But if you are happy with my interaction, then we can continue the query further.

The problem your kid is having is not related to gastroenterology either.

Regards - Dr. Sumanth
