What Are The Side Effects Of Mifepristone And Misoprostol?
Question: I have missed my periods. Had unprotected 8 days back. Can i take mifepristone & misoprostol even if my pregnancy test is negative? Will there be major side effects?

If your pregnancy test negative then no need to take Mifepristone and misoprotstol. If you take it can cause heavy bleeding which is most common, stomach cramps, tiredness. And it also may cause diarrhea, vomiting.

When did you have intercourse and when did you do urine pregnancy test?

Last period date was 17th october, 2014 and had intercourse on 10th november. Did urine test one the 16th of november.

I forgot to ask you about duration of cycle I mean weather it is 28 days cycle or 30 days cycle.
However in your case chances pf pregnancy very less since you had intercourse 5-7 days before your due date ( 15th or 17th of November). During this period chances of pregnancy very less.
I guess You have done test immediately after 1-2 days of your missed period.
I would suggest you wait for 5 days to get periods if not then get urine pregnancy test a done after 5 days. If it is negative then need not to worry.
If it is positive then we will plan further.

If you are not pregnant, wait for 7 days to get you periods on own without any intervention. If you will not get period after 7 days then you need to visit a doctor who can give you progesterone contains medication for 3-5 days, once you stop the medication you will get withdrawal bleeding after 3-5 days.
If you are pregnant and you do not want continue it, then also you need to visit a gynecologist who can give you MTP kit and suggestions for termination of pregnancy which should be done under supervision of doctor.
