Brief Answer:
About the double dose of Lotrel.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Can I assume you took 2 by accident rather than that you are intentionally trying to lower your blood pressure because it was unusually high?

Lotrel is 2 different types of blood pressure lowering medicines - an ACE Inhibotor, and a Calcium Channel Blocker. Both cause blood vessels to dilate. So your blood pressure may be lower for awhile, but the main thing to watch is that you don't get up from a reclining or sitting position quickly. If you do, there is the risk that you can get dizzy and fall.

If you feel ok, there is no need to do anything special right now except for taking care as explained above. If you develop nausea, chest tightness or pain, feel overly light headed, or ill, then do go in to the ER to be seen. But I doubt that these things will happen, and you will be fine.

Drink plenty of water.
And don't drink any alcohol (alcohol can interfere with the medicine being broken down by the liver).

Please let me know if I can provide further information.
