Brief Answer:
keep the doctor informed her medications, if any.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

There are no special precuations before the surgery.

I have some suggestions for you which you should keep in mind:

1. The doctor should know about all the medications, if any, which your wife might be taking. She may be asked to stop taking some medications up to one week before the procedure (especially blood thinning drugs like aspirin).

2. Arrange for a ride home from the hospital. Also, arrange for help at home. This will avoid any discomfort. May sound insignificant but is very essential.

3. Do not eat or drink for at least eight hours before the procedure.

4. If she has any other medical illness like diabetes, hypertension etc, keep her doctor well informed about this.

5. Try to keep her away from sources of infection.

Other then this, no special precautions are needed before surgery.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to ask further.
Thanks.

Thanks for your rapid response, the surgery is scheduled by month end, otherwise she isn't taking any medicines now, being in fitness she has her sessions which requires dance and other movements, can she perform those without any issue. Medically she doesn't have any problem not even pain and bleeding

Doc has prescribed rubired and one pain killer, any side effects of these drugs.

The finding is peduculant fibroid

Brief Answer:
rubired and pain killer is safe.

Detailed Answer:
You are most welcome :)

She can continue with her fitness sessions but work outs should not be intensive.

Rubired is folic acid and has no side effects.

Pain killer is also safe. I think it is to be taken only when there is pain.

Hope this helps.

Kindly close the discussion if you have no more queries and give your valuable feedback.

Thanks.
