Brief Answer:
Femto Second Cataract Surgery

Detailed Answer:
Welcome to HealthCareMagic.Com

Thank you for sending us your query.

Presently the Laser Cataract Surgery is the Femtosecond Laser Cataract Surgery.

A femtosecond laser is a laser which emits ultrashort optical pulses and helps in doing few of the surgery steps presently performed by the surgeon.

At present there are no systemic contraindications of a Femtosecond Laser Surgery.

Your stroke has got no implications in such a surgery.

The only contraindications of this surgery are ocular. For example certain corneal dystrophies, small pupil etc.

The only thing that is to be considered is weighing the cost of the surgery against the said benefits. The Ophthalmic Community is presently divided on this issue.
