Wha Causes Dizziness And Vertigo When Suffering From High BP?

Question: My mum had a ct scan as had an episode of diziness . She was diagnosed with vertigo which has now gone.

But ct showed bit if wear and tear in some brain parts. She has been given asprin.plus she had high bp many yrs n was not on bp tablets but now is.

Is this anything worrying?

As you have mentioned, age related wear and tears which is medically known as age related degenerative changes is common thing if you consider her age so you need not to worry about that. But i am more concerned about her high blood pressure.
I assume that her dizziness and vertigo are due to fluctations in the blood pressure.

I suggest you to take her to physician and stick on to the regular anti-hypertensive medications

Yes she is in meds now which is keeping it in control now but previouslt she took no meds .

Her blood sugar is 9.2. But they have said diet control . Does this mean no
Sugar at all ?

Does she need tablets ?
