Question: Hi My LFT result is AST(SGOT) is 88 and ALT(SGPT) is 136.Pl suggest what should i do? Iam alcholic

Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
Your liver enzymes both AST and ALT are high .
I would suggest you to stop alcohol if you are dependant then please get yourself admitted in a rehabilitation centre.
Also please get an Ultrasound scan of your abdomen done to see if your liver is enlarged or any fluid is collected.
If you have any fever investigate for infection like hepatitis A or Hepatitis B
This has to controlled at this stage otherwise you could go in to liver cell failure.
