Brief Answer:
May take longer for vertigo to clear

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for using Healthcare Magic. Vertigo can be a frightening condition. It's related to the inner ear nerves. Sinus infection and fluid in the ears can often cause such symptoms. You are on a good antibiotic for sinus infection, but if your other sinus symptoms don't start improving in another day or 2, you may want to discuss another antibiotic with your doctor.

The vertigo may take a bit longer to resolve, as the infection may clear but it takes longer for the fluid to be reabsorbed. Remember that you have a definite diagnosis for the vertigo and it's a treatable condition and nothing more serious. This may help alleviate some fears. I know in general, vertigo can produce a lot of anxiety. During this all you can do is rest, avoid doing things that aggravate it, and be aware that it will clear up soon.

Hope this answers your query. If you have further questions, I would be happy to answer them.
