Brief Answer:
Need more details

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have studied your case.

Before I advised any further I would like to know little detail about your illness.

1. Do you have difficulty in sleep some time?
2. Do you feel that you will get a incurable disease?
3. Do you some time feel depressed?
Please send me answers of these questions. I will try my best to help you.

I do not think that your symptoms can be explained with any disease or syndrome. If there is some vitamin deficiency or nerve related problem you should not have been asymptomatic in between. Personally I think that your symptoms can be due to hallucinations. But I need more details to be sure.

Please upload the blood test reports.

Thanks

Good morning,
I am a nurse. I have experienced similar symptoms in 2013 and on occasion since. Just like last night, I wake up to go to the restroom (feeling good when I wake up) when my feet hit the floor I feel very weak in my legs, so weak I am afraid of falling, I often experience light headedness and disturbed vision, with noted SOB. I also had to wrap in a blanket because I became very cold, I had no fever and my home temperature was 73 degrees. This will also happen during the day when getting up and down out of a chair, or getting out of my car.
I have no problems sleeping, sleep through the night, often get up once during the night. I often come home from work and take a nap for 1 hr. before I resume work on my computer, then retire to bed at approximately 2200-2300.
In regards to your question concerning possible depression, I have never been diagnosed with depression and have never taken any medication for depression. I do have concerns with my family and clients health and welfare that often way heavily on me. I deal with most situations with praying to God.
I am concerned with my health, when I wake feeling as I did last night.
All I can tell you is that the signs and symptoms are awful, they come with no warning.
As I mentioned in my earlier e-mail I have been diagnosed with Atrial Fib and I administer Metoprolol Succ ER 25 mg PO BID. I had Bacterial Meningitis when I was a toddler. One healthy birth of my son in 1985 and I miscarried my second child in 1988. I have had the flu twice in my life, I am allergic to eggs and can not take the flu vaccine. i had gastric bypass in 2003, lost 105 lbs. and have maintained weight loss. I am experiencing Menopausal symptoms, hot flashes, and irregular menses. Other than the common cold, a stomach virus, and my allergy to cats, I have always been healthy and active all my life. I do admit I do not get regular exercise. I follow a good diet, however need to perhaps give up my coffee in the a.m. and diet cola twice a week.
I am bewildered on what is happening with me. I want to be back to my old self.

Dr. XXXXXXX I greatly appreciate your help and your medical expertise in this matter.

Sincerely

I have called my MD and I will get a copy of my last labs and send them to you.
Thanks again.

Brief Answer:
You need to take vitamin B 12 treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your reply. I think due to gastric bypass you might be suffering from vitamin B 12 deficiency. This might be causing weakness in your both leg. I am also waiting to see your reports.
I would recommend you to take tablet Methylcobal and calcium daily. This will improve your muscle and bone strength. Also make sure that your blood pressure is normal.
Some time it can be due to anxiety attack. If there are recurrent episodes than you might need to visit a psychiatrist. Some time these are just hallucinations.
I hope this answer will be useful for you. Let me know if there is any other follow up questions.
thanks
