Suggest Treatment For Weakness And Pain In Knees

default
Posted on Thu, 27 Aug 2015
Question: A couple weeks ago I started having hamstring twitching and pain... then my hip started to hurt ...like cyatica (sp?) and then the knee became inflamed... I went to my GP... an X-ray showed only no bone/arthritis/or ligament issues... he pronounced it soft tissue damage... prescribed a anti inflammatory and Vicodin for pain... After a week and a half of bed rest I can walk on it again... but I continue to have hamstring weakness and weak knee... and I'm easily fatigued and when I do the pain returns... I am concerned that it might be an undiagnosed parasite..(I have a house cat) as the original issue was not brought on by trauma and the lingering recovery (it's been two weeks of walking carefully)... I'd like a suggestion as how to proceed?

Brief Answer:
Vitamin B12 or D deficiency can be the cause also.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for asking HCM.

I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to vitamin b12 or D deficiency. Checking vitamin b12 and d levels in blood can rule out this. If it is low then taking supplements of these will be helpful.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
