Question: i was experiencing Panic Attacks, check muscle contractions.......

Then a nerve and blood vessel became "active" within my neck for no apparent reason!!!!!!...it feels like "an electric wire", around my neck, and I experience VERY DRY Mouth and lack of energy due to this hypervigalence...

I get this EVERYDAY!!!!!

Can you cut nerves within your neck through surgery?

I've had an MRI.....this has showed up clear!!!!!!

Can a nerve be removed from within your neck?

Cheers

I'll clarify....

I was experiencing panic attacks, and severe chest muscle contractions.

A FEELING.....just above my right ear become ACTIVE for no apparent reason, then ripped down, around my neck and up my LEFT ear...

It feels like an ELECTRIC WIRE!

I now experience HYPERVIGANCE.

I had an MRI , this showed up CLEAR.

A psychiatrist THINKS a "nerve and blood vessel" became HYPER ACTIVE.

Would you suggest seeing a neurologist????

Is there non anxiety medication for this PAIN???????

Brief Answer:
Possible Auriculotemporal Neuralgia? Requires Confirmation.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can certainly understand your concerns.

I have worked through your query in detail.

As per your symptoms, you possibly seem to have Auriculotemporal Neuralgia, a disorder of nerve compression.

For this , I advise you to go for NCS- Nerve conduction study.

This can give clue to further treatment aspects.

For this , you need to consult a Neurologist in person.

Meanwhile, Medications like Pregabalin and MethylCobalamin along with Clonazepam will help .

Please check with your physician if he shares my view and if can prescribe these pills and tests to you.

Anxiety alone may not cause such symptoms.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.
