Suggest Treatment For Throat Infection, Cough And Clogged Nose

Question: Hello,
I got cold or virus infection and was sick from Tuesday September 08, 2015. I had throat infection, cough, running and clogged nose. I did not take any medication to let my immune system to work. Today I went to do blood test. High sensitive reactive protein was 14.2
Do you think that this result reflects infection I just got? I feel better now, much better.

yes the crp result reflects the infection that you have had (getting better) very likely, since the crp shows up always a little in delay to the actual symptoms.

Do I need to perform follow up blood test?
I read about CRP and I am worry that sometimes CRP evaluates due cancer.
