I am 34 years old female...
I have pain from outside on either side of the wind and the food pipe... the pain stretches to the lower jaw, ear is blocked, heaviness on the eyelids and neck soreness...
it has been a week and the pain is still there...
No medications have been started yet..

Hi,
From what I understand you are dealing with neck pain, submandibular pain, blocked ear as well as heaviness of eyelids. And this is going on for a week now. I would like to know if you had fever or nasal congesion and if you notice any lumps / swelling below the jaw.
Your description sounds like an infectious episode, a virus perhaps. And such viral infection usually resolve spontaneously. I would suggest starting warm saline gargling, tylenol tablets thrice a day, steam inhalation as well as antihistamines - benadryl for few days. Monitor the progress. If the symptoms worsen or if you develop any new symptoms, discuss further with your treating doctor.
