Brief Answer:
Need to inspect at a swelling to make a diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

Swelling or bump over the the middle of the foot could be infective (boil or abscess) or traumatic if there is history of any injury (hematoma) or cyst.

This kind of small swelling needs to get inspected for it's size and shape by the doctor and if required need to be palpated for its character and consistancy to make a diagnosis. I might be able to understand and direct you better if you can send me a picture of the affected area. There is a feature to upload pictures on this site. You can use the feature to upload images.
